Portrait of Dev Grover
Dev GroverUX designer / Dehradun, India · --:--

I design the first click and think through everything that follows it.

Landing pages, product flows and internal tools, mostly for AI products. I care about the page people land on, the search that got them there, and whether the next step is obvious.

I also make product intros and launch videos, and I study UX design at DIT University. Outside work, I mentor designers at Critic Designs.

Product intros & launch videos

Short videos that explain a product fast. I write the script, plan every scene and design each frame.

OpenBox: “Hello Trust.”

A one-minute launch film for an AI trust platform that checks every action an enterprise AI agent takes.

Launch film16:9Sep 2026
Case study 2 min

Brief

Explain an abstract enterprise product (policies, verdicts, trust scores, signed proof) in about a minute, in the brand’s own visual language.

Process

  • Studied six launch films frame by frame (Cursor, Linear, Raycast, Vercel v0, Wiz, Arc) for pacing and how each one shows real UI.
  • Wrote a 7-beat structure: hook → problem → turn → product → rhythm → ecosystem → end card.
  • Kept every beat at about 2–3 seconds, with one idea per card.

Design decision

I made “blind spots” literal. The brand’s pixel grid starts dark and flickering, with agents acting unseen. OpenBox then lights it up tile by tile, which turns the tagline into the visual.

ClipShot: click, click, click, paste

A 26-second intro for ClipShot, my free Mac menu-bar app: triple-click, drag a box, and the screenshot is on your clipboard.

Product intro16:9Oct 2026
Case study 1 min

Brief

Teach a brand-new gesture in under 30 seconds, and make a tiny utility feel fun enough to download.

Process

  • Opened on a problem everyone recognises: a desktop full of “Screenshot….png” files.
  • Showed the gesture as a rhythm (“Click. Click. Click. Paste.”) so the copy teaches the interaction.
  • Then the proof points: 100% local, lives in the menu bar, free.

Design decision

Loud poster colors and huge condensed type, one fact per frame. A quiet utility needed a loud intro to get noticed in a feed.
